Our full-functioning versions are on the Pocket PC and Palm OS platforms. We have 1000's of Blackberry users who preferred that we offer something rather than nothing. We anticipate a major update to the Blackberry platform this year, allowing for similar full functionality. We offer our BibleReader for free, as well as many Bibles and eBooks without charge, along with resources for purchase. The navigation is poor: options are very limited in regard to searching. The Palm and Pocket PC platforms are the most developed and have full functionality. Moving from either to the Blackberry platform would be a downgrade in function at this point. Our goal is to have the same functionality across all 14 platforms that we support and the 100s of devices that are involved. Needless to say, the exploding PDA and SmartPhone market keeps us challenged every day. We anticipate a MAJOR update to the Blackberry platform this year, but we cannot give an exact timeframe or specific date. Please keep checking back. For the Palm Treo, I was amazed to have so many resources available in my phone. It was wonderful. As for the Balckberry, I am very disappointed. It is difficult to navigate, search and the resources are much more limited. I would attribute this to the Blackberry platform more than the Olive Tree software. I will call it the best if a feature that will enable bible verses to be sent out over the sms on mobile phones is included. All the text are joined together with the verses not separated.
